Review: Careline Oil Control Liquid Make-up

Face powders will always be a part of my daily routine. I have an oily skin and I always search for good yet affordable products that will solve my problem.

When I was in Robinsons Supermarket, I was drawn to this product and decided to give it a try because it was stated that it is an "Oil Control Liquid Make-up". At first, I tested it in my hand using the tester provided and I'm telling you, it smells so good! It's easy to apply on skin and can cover a lot even with just little amount. I was impressed so I bought one.

Here's the product. It's made in China but it says that all ingredients are imported and it is enriched with Vitamin E which is good for the skin.

What the product says:
  • Absorbs excess oil through the day.
  • Contains Vitamin E to keep skin moist.
  • Formulated with light weight texture that glide onto the skin.
Isn't that ironic? It says that it will control the oil in my face but then it'll keep my skin moist.

It comes in three shades: Oriental, Natural and Almond. I bought the "Oriental" shade.

I Say:

I'm expecting it to have a powder finish but sadly, it felt like day cream on my face. An hour or so after application, I have to retouch because my skin is very oily.

Excuse le face. Look at my face 7 hours after application. It's very oily and to think that I retouched twice using my San San Pressed Powder.

I still like this product though because it's affordable and it serves as a moisturizer for my face and guess what, my pores appear tighter hours after application.

Quick Info:
  • Price: Php80.00
  • I got this from: Robinsons Supermarket
  • Overall Rating. 7/10
  • Will I repurchase? No.

Thank you for reading!

  1. I didn't know it's made in China x(

Yeah it's misleading when it say it controls oil. It's 50-50 for me, there are times that it looks bad on my face but there are times too that it gives me good experience, only I cannot figure out when exactly will it give me a desirable result. There is a contributing factor I need to figure out
